MM and MKn Yarsi Study Program's devotion has borne fruit, now KWK has a legal entity

There are many ways to help society. As a higher education institution, the Master of Management Study Program (MM Prodi), Yarsi University does this through community service in the form of Empowering Grocery Stall Cooperatives (KWK) towards legal and independent cooperatives in DKI Jakarta.

Head of the Master of Management Study Program, Yarsi University Graduate School, Dr. Muslikh, S.E. ME (Doctor Muslikh) said that this service invited the Master of Notary Study Program (Prodi MKn) to work together

Initially, the MM Study Program received information that the Grocery Stall Cooperative (KWK) had problems with the legality of all KWKs. After a change in management, according to government regulations, they must have legality from the relevant agency and when managing them they must be in contact with a notary.

Meanwhile, in dealing with legalities, you have to pay quite a lot of money. Meanwhile the cooperative does not have funds. If you have funds, the cooperative's operations will not be able to run, aka it will be dull.

If it continues to remain silent, the status is not a legal entity (violating the rules), ultimately the KWK will not be recognized by the government and will not be able to work as a source of income for the cooperative, especially from the government.

The MM Study Program saw this problem, could not do it alone and finally invited the MKn Study Program. Thank God the community service was welcomed. Even the Secretary of the MKn Study Program, Dr. Irwan Santosa, SH, Sp.

From now on, hopefully it won't be long before the KWK administrators will have legality. "Thank you, Doctor Irwan, through his notary office, the goal can be realized," said the Head of the MM Study Program when handing over the notarial deed and PPAT, yesterday

Doctor Muslikh added that the cooperative's plan to become a legal entity is planned to be around 50 KWK, but in the initial stage the cooperative is ready for 5 KWK. "So only 5 KWK have received a notarial deed," explained Doctor Muslikh

Doctor Irwan, also a notary, reminded that cooperatives are business entities, their scope is simple, only for members. The responsibility is only to the members, and members are obliged to hold an annual members' meeting.

Then the position of chairman and supervisor must be conveyed to the members at the member meeting, and the members present provide suggestions.

The Chancellor of Yarsi University, Prof. Dr. Fasli Jalal, Ph.

Of course, later by having a notarial and legal certificate, we hope that KWK will move up in class, from sub-district level, to city to provincial level.

Prof. Fasli asked that with the legal notarial deed Yarsi would help with costs and administration, he would start to move more widely.

It doesn't stop here, later Yarsi University wants to collaborate with the DKI Jakarta province to provide food safety and halal insight to KWK and will help create various marketing applications so they can compete in the digital market.

"Including if you already have a variety of products that need to be protected, their intellectual property will be assisted and assisted with a halal certificate by Yarsi University," said Prof. Fasli Jalal.

Head of the South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-department, Paruli Tampubolon, stated that after receiving the updated legality, KWK was asked to develop a more advanced business and the South Jakarta Sub-department would help include it in the DKI Jakarta goods and services procurement process, especially consumption procurement.

Paruli said, now the community service of the MM Study Program and the Yarsi MKn Study Program has borne fruit, KWK has become a legal and legal entity. In the future, it is hoped that the cooperative will develop. "Hopefully Yarsi University will be more advanced," concluded Paruli (usman)
