  1. Background

    The YARSI University Publication and IPR Center is one of the centers established by YARSI University under the auspices of the Research Institute in 2021. The IPR Center was first established in 2018 with the name YARSI University Intellectual Property Rights Center based on Chancellor's Decree Number: 003/INT/SK /REK/UY/II/2018.

    Currently, YARSI University has 11 (Eleven) scientific periodicals, namely:

  4. The definition of Intellectual Property Rights is rights that arise from the results of thought that produces a product or process that is useful for humans. In essence, intellectual property is the right to economically enjoy the results of creativity. Intellectual Property Rights consist of Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs, Copyrights, Geographical Indications, Trade Secrets and Introduction to Integrated Circuit Layout Designs. Intellectual Property Rights exercised at YARSI University consist of:
    • Copyright is the exclusive right of the creator which arises automatically based on the declarative principle after a work is realized in real form without reducing restrictions in accordance with the provisions of statutory regulations.
    • A patent right is an inventor's exclusive right to an invention in the field of technology for a certain period of time to implement it himself or give approval to another party to implement the invention.
  5. Copyright Application Terms and Procedures:

    • Fill out the Application letter
    • Fill out the Statement Letter
    • Fill out the Transfer of Rights Letter
    • Deed of Establishment of Legal Entity
    • Applicant and Creator KTP, KTM if the Creator is a student
    • Individual/Company NPWP

  6. IPR Application Procedure
    • Download the IPR Application form here
    • Fill out the Application for Creation registration form and affix a stamp duty of Rp. 10.000,-
    • Fill out the Copyright Transfer Letter form and sign and affix a stamp of Rp. 10.000,-
    • Fill out the Statement Form and affix a stamp duty of Rp. 10.000,-
    • After the form has been filled in, print the form with F4/Legal paper size
    • Submit your KTP and NPWP in pdf form (if there is more than 1 creator, you are required to also attach the KTP and NPWP of the other creators)
    • If the creator is a student, just attach the KTM in pdf form
