Collaborations with health institutions
Since 2019, YARSI University has been assisting the regional government of Pandeglang Regency in reducing the Stunting rate in Pandeglang Regency. YARSI University worked with various stakeholders, including Unilever Indonesia, Charoen Pokphan Indonesia, the Pandeglang Regency Government, and the Pandeglang Regency Health Office, to carry out the activities. Training for integrated service post cadres, nutrition training for pregnant women, parenting training, adolescent counseling, and nutrition intervention by feeding eggs to toddlers every day for six months were among the activities carried out. Collaborate with the Pandeglang District Health Office to determine the program focal site and monitor intervention activities.

Shared sports facilities
YARSI University campus provides sports center facilities with an area of 960 m2. The facilities available in the sports center room are portable basketball equipment, portable badminton equipment, spectator stands, a scoreboard, a futsal goal, toilets, separate male and female changing rooms, spotlights, and CCTV. The open sports center space can be used by members of the campus academic community or the surrounding community. The sports center space loan follows the rules stated in the guidelines for borrowing facilities and infrastructure issued by YARSI University (Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding the Loaning of Infrastructure Facilities in 2019).

Sexual and reproductive health care services for students
YARSI University’s PPKS Institute (Center for Family Welfare Services) was founded in 2019 as a result of the Cooperation Agreement between YARSI University, the PPAPP (Child Protection and Population Control Empowerment) Office, and BKKBN (National Population and Family Planning Agency). PPKS aims to provide the academic and broader community with knowledge, training, and skills about reproductive health and family resilience. Throughout 2021, PPKS has held outreach and training initiatives for community members, college students, and high school students.

Smoke-free policy
YARSI University has a no-smoking policy on campus. The smoking ban on campus is the result of the implementation of Jakarta Provincial Government Regional Regulation No. 2 in 2005. The campus makes targeted statements about no-smoking locations.
