Public Consultation on Indonesia’s Draft VNR 2025

On Friday, May 2nd, 2025, the National Secretariat of SDGs Indonesia held an online Public Consultation to submit and gather input on the Draft Indonesia Voluntary National Review (VNR) Report 2025. The VNR is a voluntary report that describes Indonesia’s progress, challenges, and steps in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of its commitment to the 2030 Agenda.

The SDGs Center of Universitas YARSI participated in this consultation by contributing updates on the progress of SDGs-related activities at the university. Through this involvement, we hope that our efforts can contribute to the enhancement of national SDGs achievements and reflect the active role of higher education institutions in realizing sustainable and inclusive development. This collaboration also reflects SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), which emphasizes the importance of strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing global partnerships for sustainable development through multi-stakeholder cooperation.

Input from this consultation will be used to refine the final draft of VNR 2025 which will be presented at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) at the UN. This process demonstrates Indonesia’s commitment in realizing inclusive and equitable development to ensure that no one is left behind.
