On June 22, YARSI University held its much-anticipated annual Fun Walk. With the inspirational theme “Together, We are Ready for the Next Step”, this event invited the entire academic community to join in a healthy sporting activity that can strengthen the relationship. The YARSI 2025 Fun Walk took place at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Complex. The choice of this location is very strategic considering that GBK is a national sports icon that has witnessed various glorious achievements of Indonesia in the international arena.
The energetic day began with a participant registration session at 06.00-07.00 WIB. After the event was opened, the event continued with a series of remarks from university leaders. Prof. Dr. H. Nurul Huda, S.E., M.M., M.Si. as the person in charge of the Fun Walk. He delivered the activity report, followed by a warm welcome from Prof. Dr. Fasli Jalal, Ph.D. as Rector of YARSI University, as well as representatives from YARSI Foundation. The highlight of the event was the hour-long Fun Walk which was attended by all participants and organizers. In a cheerful atmosphere, participants enjoyed the route that had been prepared while feeling the atmosphere of close togetherness.
Fun Walk YARSI 2025 is not only about physical activity, but also about building character, strengthening relationships between the academic community, and realizing the spirit of togetherness in achieving common goals. With the theme “Together, We are Ready for the Next Step”, this event invites all participants to jointly step towards a brighter future, both personally and as part of the YARSI University family. This activity is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as SDG 3: Good Health and Well Being, by promoting physical activity and the importance of health.
