On November 19, 2025, a crucial Main SDGs Conference was held through the National MBG Strategic Program 2025, with the theme “Improving Quality of Human Resources, Accelerating Economic Growth that is Sustainable and Reducing Poverty through the National MBG Strategic Program.” This high-level conference brought together distinguished keynote speakers including Dadan Hindrayana (Chair of the National BOPN Board), UN Resident Coordinator in Indonesia, and other prominent figures addressing critical national development challenges. The event featured two parallel sessions: “SAC & SAA 2025” led by Amir Bangun Ali (Head of National SDGs Secretariat and Executive Secretary of PPN/Bappenas), and “PPG Report 1999” presented by Leonard A.A. Nainggolan (Director of Regional Autonomy Expenditure PPN/Bappenas). This conference addressed the urgent need for integrated strategies to enhance human capital development, drive sustainable economic growth, and implement effective poverty reduction programs through coordinated national efforts.
This conference directly aligns with multiple Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 1 on No Poverty, SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals. By convening key stakeholders from government, international organizations, and academic institutions, the conference facilitates the collaborative planning and coordination essential for achieving Indonesia’s sustainable development targets. The focus on improving human resource quality addresses the foundational requirements for economic transformation and poverty alleviation, recognizing that investing in education, health, and skills development creates the productive workforce necessary for sustainable economic growth. The emphasis on accelerating economic growth that is both sustainable and inclusive ensures that development benefits reach all segments of society, particularly vulnerable populations, while protecting environmental resources for future generations. Through the National MBG Strategic Program framework, this conference contributes to strengthening policy coherence, mobilizing resources, and building effective partnerships across sectors and governance levels, ultimately supporting Indonesia’s commitment to achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and realizing the vision of a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable nation.
