On July 2, 2025, BAZNAS (BAZIS) of DKI Jakarta Province held the 2025 Mosque Award at MH Thamrin Hall, DKI Jakarta City Hall. This activity is a form of appreciation for mosques in Jakarta that have innovated in building a friendly environment and responsive to the needs of the people. Masjid Award gives awards in six categories, including Masjid Ramah Pemuda, Masjid Ramah Anak, Masjid Ramah Lansia, Masjid Ramah Dhuafa, Masjid Ramah Disabilitas, and Masjid Tanggap Bencana. After going through a rigorous selection, Masjid Jami’ Yarsi was selected as the winner in the ‘Masjid Ramah Dhuafa’ category.
This Mosque Award is the culmination of the Muharram program with the aim of increasing the role of mosques in the community. The Masjid Jami’ Yarsi which won the award in the ‘Masjid Ramah Dhuafa’ category showed a direct contribution to the SDGs goal, SDG 1; No Poverty, which is shown through a Masjid Ramah Dhuafa that actively helps underprivileged communities and provides access to spiritual, social and economic needs.
