Universitas YARSI Explores Collaborative Opportunities with Deakin University

On March 13, 2025, Universitas YARSI conducted a courtesy visit to Deakin University’s city office in Melbourne, Australia, to explore potential areas of collaboration in research, innovation, and academic partnerships. This significant meeting was part of Universitas YARSI’s ongoing commitment to expanding international cooperation and fostering global academic engagement.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Fasli Jalal, Rector of Universitas YARSI, who led the delegation. He was warmly received by Prof. Matthew Clarke, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation at Deakin University. The discussion focused on identifying strategic areas for future cooperation, with particular attention given to interdisciplinary research, innovation ecosystems, and academic exchange initiatives.

Universitas YARSI deeply appreciates Deakin University’s effort to involve key representatives from Strategic Research Services, the External and Government Relations Office, the Faculty of Health, and The Alfred Deakin Institute (ADI) in the dialogue.
