YARSI University has made a proud achievement by winning the 2025 Digital Legal Literacy Award in the category of “PIONEER of Digital Legal Literacy Campus” at the national level. This prestigious award was organized by Hukumonline as part of the Top Indonesian Law Schools 2025 event held on August 27, 2025. This award was given based on a comprehensive evaluation of the efforts of law schools in Indonesia in integrating digital technology to improve legal literacy among the academic community. The Faculty of Law at YARSI University has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to utilizing digital platforms and technological resources to strengthen the legal understanding of students and lecturers, as well as contributing to the transformation of legal education in the digital era.
This achievement has a very strong correlation with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). Through pioneering digital legal literacy, the Faculty of Law at YARSI University has contributed to ensuring quality, inclusive, and relevant legal education in line with the times. The digitization of legal literacy allows for wider access to legal information, supports the creation of a legally aware society, and strengthens legal institutions through innovative education. This award also reflects the university’s commitment to supporting SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration with legal technology platforms to create a sustainable education ecosystem. Thus, this achievement is not only a recognition of innovation in legal education, but also a real contribution to sustainable development through the strengthening of digital legal literacy in Indonesia.
