Universitas YARSI, recognized for its outstanding achievements, has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence. Through the efforts of Ibu Dilfa Juniar, M.Psi, a lecturer in psychology, Universitas YARSI proudly obtained the NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) Code on October 31, 2024. This unique identification code allows institutions to collaborate internationally across fields such as research and education.
The NCAGE certification, issued by the Ministry of Defense through the National Codification Bureau (NCB) Indonesia, strengthens YARSI’s global reputation and opens up exciting opportunities for international partnerships and funding. Ibu Dilfa, who is also a Ph.D. candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, highlighted that this achievement is a testament to Universitas YARSI’s dedication to internationalization. “This accomplishment supports YARSI’s vision of becoming a world-class higher education institution with a competitive edge,” she remarked.
The certification process, which included rigorous validation and verification, was a significant step for the university. With the NCAGE certificate, Universitas YARSI now plans to apply for a grant from The National Institute of Mental Health, aiming to expand its global research footprint.
The NCAGE certificate was presented by Colonel Asep Muspida, representing Baranahan as the Director of NCB Indonesia, and received on behalf of YARSI by Ahmad Rusdan H.Utomo, Ph.D., Vice-Rector II. Colonel Asep emphasized the importance of utilizing the NCAGE certificate responsibly to further YARSI’s contributions at both national and international levels.
