Scientific Vision of the Primary Care Family Medicine Specialist Study Program:
Providing high quality Primary Care Family Medicine Specialist Doctor education with excellence in Precision Preventive Medicine in accordance with Islam, thereby producing graduates who are able to adapt to developments in science and technology and contribute to the fields of medicine and health in national and international forums by 2035.

Mission of the Faculty of Medicine, YARSI University
YARSI University Faculty of Medicine has a mission:

  1. Developing quality medical education, recognized nationally and internationally, and producing Muslim doctors who are able to adapt to developments in science and technology and contribute to the fields of medicine and health and practice their profession in accordance with Islam.
  2. Carry out high quality studies and research that are recognized nationally and internationally, in accordance with developments in science and technology and contribute to the fields of medicine and health in accordance with Islam.
  3. Carry out various forms of community service, including as a manifestation of research results that are recognized nationally and internationally, in accordance with developments in science and technology, as well as contributing to the fields of medicine and health in accordance with Islam.
  4. Develop faculty institutions that are well-governed and human resources (HR) that are quality-oriented and able to contribute to national and international forums.

Objectives of the Faculty of Medicine
YARSI University Faculty of Medicine set the objectives:

  1. Producing quality Muslim doctors, able to adapt to developments in science and technology with excellence in the field of preventive medicine, contributing to the health sector, and practicing their profession in accordance with Islam.
  2. Produce high quality research outputs that are recognized nationally and internationally, in accordance with developments in science and technology and contribute to the health sector in accordance with Islam.
  3. The realization of community service as an embodiment of research results that are recognized nationally and internationally, in accordance with developments in science and technology, as well as contributing to the health sector, improving community welfare, and making the nation's life more intelligent in accordance with Islam.
  4. Developing the potential of students to become human beings who have faith and devotion to God Almighty and have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, skilled, competent and cultured for the benefit of the nation.
  5. The realization of quality-oriented governance, capable of contributing to participatory national and international forums and integrated between sectors in an effort to support the effectiveness and efficiency of human and physical resources.

The values ​​of YARSI University are smart, compassionate, and reliable (SCORE) which can be explained as follows:

YARSI University's Faculty of Medicine also applies 20 Muslim Doctor behaviors for students which can be explained as follows:

  4. Muslim women doctors always wear the hijab
