On August 27, 2025, the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas held a signing ceremony for the Cooperation Agreement with strategic partners and a Public Consultation on the Draft National Action Plan for the SDGs 2025-2030. This activity aimed to strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships to support the implementation of the upcoming National Action Plan for the SDGs, while also gathering substantial input from stakeholders. The event was held as a hybrid format in the Djunaedi Hadisumarto Room at Bappenas and a meeting platform. The series of activities included the signing of the PKS between Bappenas, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and the Indonesian Philanthropy Association (PFI), followed by the presentation of the draft RAN SDGs 2025-2030 and a public Q&A session. The Center for ‘SDGs dan Kependudukan’ of YARSI University was among those invited to attend.
This event directly supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening strategic partnerships between the government, the private sector, and philanthropic organizations in achieving sustainable development goals. The involvement of diverse stakeholders, from ministries/institutions, universities, the business world, and civil society organizations, reflects a collaborative approach essential to achieving all 17 SDGs. Inclusive and participatory public consultations also support SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting transparency, accountability, and public participation in the formulation of national development policies that will have an impact until 2030.
