YARSI University Master’s Program in Hospital Administration Achieves 3-Star ESR Certificate

The Postgraduate School Faculty, Master’s Program in Hospital Administration at YARSI University has obtained an ESR (Event Sustainability Rating) Certificate with a 3-Star: Disclosure & Action predicate from Carbon Accounting. This achievement was earned through the program’s commitment to implementing sustainability principles in the “Hospital Risk Management in Disaster” event held at Al Quddus Auditorium, YARSI University on January 24, 2026. During the event, greenhouse gas emissions were calculated with a result of 1.71 tons of CO₂e, demonstrating the organizer’s seriousness in measuring and managing the environmental impact of the academic activities conducted. This emission calculation method encompassed all event organization activities, from energy consumption and participant transportation to the use of supporting materials for the event.

The achievement of the 3-Star ESR certification demonstrates that the organized activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 13 on Climate Action. By measuring and disclosing carbon emissions from academic activities, the Master’s Program in Hospital Administration at YARSI University actively contributes to global efforts to reduce climate change impacts through environmental transparency and accountability. Furthermore, this activity also supports SDGs point 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production, where organizing events that consider carbon footprint promotes more sustainable and responsible resource management practices in higher education
